Course Objectives

Through extensive hands-on training and
participation in a variety of committees, we
develop the potential of women to:
- Be
effective volunteers
- Have a
voice in the community

Influence strategies and decision-making
on community issues
- Gain
leadership experience.

Training is offered in a variety of areas.
Some examples include: grant and proposal
writing, public relations, fundraising,
public policy advocacy, and parliamentary
procedure.
If you are interested in volunteering in
our community, expanding your skills,
sharing your talents and making friends,
then the Junior League of Reading is for
you! Review the membership requirements
below and then fill out a membership form
today!

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
You must be a woman 18 years or older living
in Berks County and be willing to:
- Actively
participate on one committee
- Work a
minimum number of hours on our
annual events.
- Attend
General Membership meetings
- Pay
annual membership dues
- Buy or
sell $100 in fundraising raffle tickets.
